Behind the scenes snoop.......

So Monday was the day of my new ASOS Marketplace lookbook shoot in Hanbury Street/Brick Lane, London. After a very stressful Sunday (losing the changing venue, MUA, Hairstylist and my mind!) the shoot went ahead on a gloriously sunny Bank Holiday. A make do attitude was taken on board by everyone and I must say a massive thankyou to everyones open mindedness on the shoot! Anyway, back to business!! My collection was modelled by the gorgeous George Verity and Bryony Robertson with the wonderful Natasha Anderson working her magic on make up and hair. The stunning images where shot by the uber talented Samin Ghiasi and inspired by the amazing graffiti walls of East London the shoot was an explosion of colour and fun! On hand making sure the day ran smoothly was Miss Helen Coakly who was also responsible for the fab coloured nails and sneak peak behind the scenes footage from the day. So feast your eyes upon the backstage documentary taster and prepare yourself for the stunning new lookbook launching on ASOS on SATURDAY!!!!

Check out the final images when they launch on Saturday on my ASOS BOUTIQUE !!!

Drapers Next Generation Academy 2013

So I was recently fortunate enough to nab a spot at the Drapers Next Generation Academy and had the chance to hear from some of the most successful people in the fashion industry. With key speakers such as Andy Rubin, CEO, Pentland Brands, Michael Sharp, CEO, Debenhams, Stephanie Fair, MD, The Outnet, Dan Lumb, Reiss and Paul Marchant, MD, Primark the day showed insights into all kinds of areas within the industry. For me, my favourite speaker had to be the truly inspirational story of Julie Dean, Cambridge Satchel Co. Her tale of sitting at her kitchen table with £600 and a laptop to creating a multi million pound empire captivated the entire audience, and she's just so humble!!!

Whilst enjoying the amazingly delicious lunch time spread I was snapped by the Drapers Street Style hunter and had a little chat about ambitions and aspirations. Here is my street style shot wearing top and bag from my SS13 collection.
